Brasserie Jo Celebrates 10 Years

05/01/2008

Brasserie JO Cheers 10 Years with a Month-Long Celebration in May

BOSTON, MA – Brasserie JO, located in Boston’s fashionable Back Bay, is celebrating a decade of fine food and service throughout May with special events, menus, and entertainment on each and every day of the month.

Boston’s original and most authentic brasserie, Brasserie JO continues to define itself by offering classic, Alsatian-style cuisine and exceptional service. Known among savvy Bostonians and Francophiles alike as “the place” to taste the year’s first Beaujolais Nouveau and cheer on riders in the Tour de France, Brasserie JO continues to win the hearts of diners with its convivial atmosphere and down to earth cuisine.

“Brasserie JO is a festive and flavorful tribute to the food and drink I grew up with in France, and I am thrilled that it has been embraced by Boston for the past 10 years,” said Chef Jean Joho, who is also the executive chef of the acclaimed Everest and Brasserie JO in Chicago and the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Las Vegas. Among his many accolades, Chef Jean Joho was named the “Best American Chef: Midwest,” nominated for “Best Outstanding Restaurant” by the James Beard Foundation and named Bon Appetit’s “Chef of the Year.” Chef Joho’s Brasserie JO in Chicago also won “Best New Restaurant in the US” by the James Beard Foundation when it opened in 1996.

With Brasserie JO celebrating a decade this May, now there are even more reasons to visit.
