Brasserie Jo Celebrates Fall Harvest
Restaurant Welcomes Fall with Pumpkin Festivities
Boston, MA (October 2005) – Brasserie Jo, Boston’s authentic French brasserie at The Colonnade Hotel celebrates fall with their 2nd Annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival. Set against the festive fall ambiance of a typical New England backyard, the restaurant will be decorated with cornstalks, pumpkins, leaves, and even a resident scarecrow. Chef de Cuisine Olivier Rigaud will showcase the versatility of the sweet and spicy pumpkin with a special menu available DATES??
Pumpkin inspired menu specials include: tarte flambee duck confit and caramelized pumpkin; mixed greens with cranberry vinaigrette, pumpkin croutons; lemon seared sole stuffed with pumpkin mouse in a riesling sauce with spaghetti squash, steamed asparagus and potato; rack of lamb with crusted pumpkin seeds served with brussel sprouts and pumpkin gnocchi; and pumpkin profiteroles with caramel sauce.
Menu items will be available a la carte in both the bar and dining room. Pumpkin enthusiasts can pair their meal selection with a special pumpkin martini that will be offered throughout the Harvest Festival. Children will receive their own mini-pumpkin to decorate during dinner
Harvest Festival festivities will also include a “Guess the Weight, Win Dinner for Eight”contest. The patron who guesses the closest to the correct weight of an enormous pumpkin on display in Brasserie Jo’s dining room will win a complimentary dinner for eight people.
