Playboy Online's A-List:
America's Best Poolside Bars
In a city known for Irish taverns, the Colonnade's Roof Top Pool (or "RTP," to the cognoscenti) stands out as Beantown's premier aquatic imbibing spot for the city's movers and shakers. A young, often disproportionately female crowd, as well as local celebs and pro athletes, pack this Back Bay/Copley destination for its exclusive, clubhouse setting, sweeping views of Fenway Park and exemplary service. Monday through Friday, non-hotel guests get to hang out for a $30 admission fee that includes a chaise and towel attendant (free for hotel guests). But even though RTP maintains a top-notch operation, the scene is fairly casual, with most guests ordering cocktails or frozen drinks; there is no bottle service. RTP also brings in exclusive concerts, including Jimmy Buffett, Sister Hazel and Jewel. The pool is seasonal and is generally open Memorial Day to Labor Day.
