"Shinedown are becoming Kings of the Rock Power Ballad. The kind of song where you find your arm reaching for a lighter once it starts. The kind of song that could be great for a slow dance but kicks in just enough to make it seem a little awkward. Must be their Duval County, Florida roots. Lynyrd Skynyrd are from the same area. One thing is for sure, Brent Smith's voice is for real. No auto-tune there." by Mike Hsu
What started out at the Rooftop Pool (with the sound check) ended up moving inside for an intimate concert due to the weather. We experienced as many rain delays as Fenway Park did this evening. The funniest part of the day was the question and answer session. A nine year old guest asked him a question he had never heard before “Did you have your tonsils taken out?”. Nick had some nice words to say about Boston and the hotel. We’re grateful to host him and hope he returns soon. Trust us – if the single is anything like the rest of the album, it’s sure to be a massive hit. View the Boston Globe Article.
